Thouhg not round Knees or Wrists!

i dont understand what this means, ive tried searching it up but all to gobble gook for me.
any info greatly apreciated.

also said i have Central chest cavity discomfort consistently!
Heart was checked, lungs nothing found so thats good.

Dearest Melly,

Synovitis just literally means swelling; areas that are swollen. So you may have other areas and not your knees or wrists?

The other query is probably just them being very precautious. Or you *may* have some rib/sternum swelling...as unfortunately RA manages to creep around everywhere, and always uninvited? he's such a beast.

Shall I come over and slay him for you?

Praying and thinking of you my lovely,

A

Hi Inky,

If this is a letter from your consultant to your GP you would be better asking your GP to explain it.
Sometimes they use sweeping comments to each other when they are not actually addressing the patient, and only they know what they mean.

Hi no its to me directly, but thanks for asking doreen.Gp has same copy and never has time to explain with so many things going on just thought some of u may have heard of it.

Also ive been unable get to Gp lol bad back pain chesty bug.
shall try this week once bloods back.
It felt nice he explains things so at least ive upgraded from
polyarthtis which gp did explain as they dont know whats wrong .
seems odd to me as other rheumy kept insisting i don thave synovitis at allwhen same time Gp siad i clearly do?

do rememebr older rheumy saying that the new one is much more highly traiend so maybe ehs skills and asesing pateints is vastly better.
to notice things others havnt.

Hi Inky - sorry you are having a rough time with your back again and chest probs.

My rheumy explained that when he says 'synovitis' he means that the joints are inflamed and the synovial memrane that covers the joints is irritated and producing too much synovial fluid - which shows as swelling. In a bad joint flare it sometimes also shows as redness and heat.

Hope you manage to get some rest tonight. Take care.

Will keep my fingers crossed and hope your bloods are OK, if you've had or have an infection, you might find find that your ESR & CRP are raised.

Take care and keeping resting - too cold and wet outsideThumbDown

usually my neutrophils go high our gp doesnt take higher esr or crp as infection at all.

quite often ive felt so unwell and she wont give anything so hope to speak with male doctor as he seems be more on ball how infection can very where it shows up for me.

yes hope they get them soon as go away saturday for 4 nights.

a dear friend has bought me early xmasgift for my back a pressure relieveing cushion i shall also point it out to rheumy how often i get problems there.
think and scan or xary would not go amiss as not been done and ive had 2 very nasty injuries to this area.

anyway of to pop me amtripline now so can sleep well.
